Reclaimed-brick rear extension.
A single-storey rear extension built in reclaimed brick to match the house, with steel beams over the new openings and a blockwork inner leaf. Photographed as the walls and steelwork went up.
THE JOB
The photographs follow the build sequence: the base set out with the reclaimed bricks stacked on site, steels in over the new openings, and the lintel bedded over the internal opening. The brick was matched to the house so the extension reads as part of the original.
